A Diplomatic Training Research and Development Internship will be available in 2024 through DIRCO .The Department of International Relations, in collaboration with Imbumba Aganang and PKF Octagon Incorporated, is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Diplomatic Training, Research, and Development (MSU) Internship 2024. This unique opportunity aims to provide valuable experience in the field of international relations.

  • Closing Date: 14 January 2024
  • Duration of Programme: 24 months
  • Commencement Date: 1 April 2024
  • End Date: 31 March 2026
  • Number of Participants: 3
  • Stipend: R 7,043.31 per month for National Diploma, Bachelors/Honours Degree & R 8,584.36 per month for Master Degree.

Qualifications Required

Eligibility/Selection Requirements

  • Only first-time Learnership Programme participants considered
  • Successful candidates must sign an oath of secrecy
  • Applicants expected to be available for selection interviews
  • Learners to have own transport and accommodation
  • Only South African citizens aged 18 to 35 eligible
  • Appointments subject to verification, reference checks, and security vetting
  • Foreign qualifications require SAQA evaluation

How to Apply

  • Closing date for applications: 14 January 2024
  • ONLY shortlisted applicants must submit a Z83 form, comprehensive CV, certified copies of qualifications, and a copy of ID before the interview.

Correspondence will be limited to shortlisted candidates. If not contacted within three months after the closing date, consider the application unsuccessful. Successful learners will sign a Learnership Contract/Agreement with the Department. Interviews conducted via an online platform.
