Job Purpose

The Officer: Customer Service is responsible for delivering customer support services to enhance the overall customer experience. This involves executing predefined objectives as per agreed standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities

  1. Providing Customer Service and Support:
    • Answering inbound calls and responding to written queries in a timely manner.
    • Managing all queries through to resolution, ensuring first call resolution is adhered to at all times.
    • Resolving all complaints within agreed service level timeframes.
  2. Strict Adherence to Risk and Compliance:
    • Authenticating existing and third-party customers and meeting security measures as per the National Credit Act.
    • Strictly adhering to all risk and governance policies and procedures.
  3. Self-Development:
    • Taking ownership and being proactive about personal training and development.
    • Working on a shift contract with the schedule allocated accordingly.

Minimum Requirements

  • Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Business, Commerce, and Management Studies (Required).
