The Dr. Xolani Mkwanazi Bursary Scheme is offering a limited number of tertiary bursaries for 2024 to deserving applicants who reside in the Joe Taolo Gaetsewe (JTG) district and Hotazel Manganese Mine’s Employees’ children. If you completed Grade 12 or are in your first year of study, under the age of 21, and would like to study full-time towards a degree/diploma, this bursary scheme is just what you are looking for.

Requirements Mkhwanazi Bursaries

Candidates will be assessed on academic excellence, amongst other criteria. Applicants must submit the following documents to be considered:

  • Registration acceptance letter or proof of admission to the institution of their choice for their preferred field of study
  • Proof of residence (copy of municipal water & lights, or a letter from a Council member or Chief)
