The Sasol Mainstream Bursary Programme is designed to attract exceptional individuals interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree (B.Sc. or B.Eng.) or an Engineering Technology Degree (B.Eng. Tech.) at a recognized South African University. Eligibility is limited to South African Citizens exclusively.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must be South African citizens, enrolled as 1st to 4th-year students pursuing B. Engineering/B.Sc. Engineering (excluding diplomas) at a South African University (excluding University of Technology), with the exception of those studying mine surveying at a University of Technology.

The eligible disciplines include Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, and Geology. Please note that obtaining an Honours degree is mandatory for pursuing Geology.
