Job Purpose

The primary objective of the Call Centre Agent position is to provide customer service telephonically or through other media, ensuring timely resolution of customer queries.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Action incoming or outgoing customer calls, electronic communications, and queries according to standard operating procedures.
  • Contribute to a culture of service excellence, fostering positive relationships and encouraging feedback.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, assess own performance, and contribute to innovation for more efficient working.
  • Comply with statutory, legislative, policy, and governance requirements.
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Address customer needs to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Resolve customer queries received through inbound calls.
  • Answer inbound calls in the eBucks call centre, providing product and service information to customers.


Ideal candidates for this position should possess:

  • Grade 12
  • Must not be an unrehabilitated insolvent


Applicants should have experience in:

  • Call Centre environment
  • Long-term insurance customer service
  • Assisting clients via email or telephone, following clear instructions for amending current policies
