South African Breweries (SAB)/AB InBev is currently accepting applications for its Logistics Technical Trainee Programme 2024. This program provides a unique opportunity for individuals to immerse themselves in the Logistics department, gaining valuable experience in Distribution, Warehousing, Inventory & Planning over a 12-month period.

The trainees will be stationed at various locations, including HQ Bryanston/Sandton, Isando, Denver, and Bloemfontein in South Africa.

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to foster a comprehensive understanding of the Logistics department’s intricacies. Trainees will engage in hands-on experiences within Distribution, Warehousing, Inventory & Planning during the 12-month program.

About the Trainee Programme

The Logistics Technical Trainee Programme is a dynamic 12-month initiative designed to provide exposure to the operations and projects within the Logistics function. Trainees will interact with senior leaders, undergo robust evaluations, and engage in 4-month rotational cycles. The program follows the 70-20-10 rule, emphasizing learning through challenging experiences (70%), developmental relationships (20%), and coursework and training (10%).

Upon completing eight successful months in the program, participants can apply for roles within the business, paving the way for a future filled with success and celebrations.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Maximum of 3 years of full-time formal working experience.


  • Geographical mobility: Willingness to relocate during and after the 12-month training program.
  • Fully proficient in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and adaptability to new systems.
  • Ambitious, curious, bold, and resilient.
  • Determination to deliver results.
  • Sense of ownership and a desire to make a significant impact.
