Minimum Requirements

  • Matriculation certificate
  • National Diploma in a related field (preferred)
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and Syspro software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to write reports effectively

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Timely dispatching of all trucks in the morning.
  • Organizing replacement of dispatch staff when needed.
  • Ensuring adherence to uniform policies within the dispatch team.
  • Coordination of internal distribution labor as required.
  • Daily completion of dispatch recon documents.
  • Maintenance of accurate records of goods received and dispatched.
  • Fostering excellent customer service within the dispatch department.
  • Reconciliation and oversight of dispatch foreman recon processes on a daily basis.
  • Verification of production transfers and confirmation of returns to dispatch.
  • Balancing dispatch reconciliations against daily sales per route.
  • Recording all driver returns to stock on return slips.
  • Supervising stock variances and promptly reporting to management.
