Reporting to the Group Bid Manager, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in tender and bid administration.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred
  • Sound knowledge and relevant experience in tender/BID administration
  • Excellent typing skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy essential
  • Ability to plan and meet deadlines under pressure


  • Prepare and review tender pricing schedules
  • Ensure all tenders are completed within stipulated time frames and requirements
  • Ensure client contract obligations are met
  • Maintain contact with Sales and Operations to communicate and maintain all opportunities
  • Assist branches with supportive marketing material, such as profiles
  • Be available for customer visits as required
  • Liaise with specific departments to manage prequalification questionnaires and required documentation for clients on behalf of management
  • Compile and consolidate tenders and accurately compile and consolidate tender costings
  • Compile and consolidate quotes for branches
  • Update tender reports monthly for the Department Manager
  • Maintain necessary filing system monthly
  • Hand over awarded tenders/contracts
