These roles are integral to providing crucial support within the plant during the processing of food products.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • 1-2 years of working experience
  • Good health, especially in working in a cold environment

Duties and Responsibilities

As a General Worker your responsibilities will include

  1. Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility.
  2. Disinfection: Regularly cleaning and disinfecting work areas, equipment, and common spaces.
  3. Waste Management: Proper disposal of waste to maintain a tidy and organized production environment.
  4. Packaging: Inspecting and packaging further processed food products with precision and attention to detail.
  5. Material Monitoring: Monitoring packaging materials and replenishing as needed.
  6. Quality Assurance: Following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards to ensure product quality and safety.
  7. Hygiene Compliance: Conducting routine checks to confirm compliance with hygiene and sanitation guidelines.
  8. Reporting: Promptly reporting any deviations or issues to the supervisor.
  9. Logistics Support: Assisting with loading and unloading shipments.
  10. Task Assistance: Performing errands or tasks outside the plant premises as required.
  11. Team Support: Supporting the team in various capacities to meet operational needs.
