The primary purpose of this role is to provide administrative support for Nedplan Insurance Brokers operations. Additionally, the Personal Assistant Administrator will offer operational support to the Executive and Management, facilitating the planning, coordination, and management of administrative business activities to fulfill Nedbank’s mandate.

  • Handling broker queries as the initial point of contact, managing licensing, broker recruitment, and onboarding/off-boarding processes.
  • Active participation in team meetings, sharing knowledge, and distributing meeting minutes.
  • Consolidating monthly Brokers Sales reports and managing relationships with insurance companies partnered with Nedplan.
  • Handling Namfisa Broker-related queries and overseeing the consolidation and distribution of weekly commission statements.
  • Facilitating monthly broker commission payments and ensuring timely responses to internal and external client needs within the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Monitoring and verifying the process flow of relevant tasks to completion.
  • Staying informed about legislation and industry changes impacting the role.
  • Embracing the Nedbank vision and demonstrating values in interactions with the team and stakeholders.
  • Managing executive calendars, setting up meetings, compiling monthly committee meeting packs, and taking minutes of committee meetings.
  • Maintaining discretion and confidentiality in adherence to Nedbank values.
  • Assisting with general office administration.


Preferred Qualification

  • Grade 12 (25 points)
  • Certificate or Diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum Experience Level

  • Proficiency in MS Office and Excel is compulsory.
  • Experience in the insurance industry is advantageous.
  • 1-3 years of secretarial experience.
