About Roads Agency Limpopo

Roads Agency Limpopo SOC (RAL) operates under the Limpopo Province Roads Agency Proprietary Limited and Provincial Roads Act 07 of 1998. The agency is mandated to oversee the planning, construction, maintenance, control, and management of the road infrastructure in the Limpopo Province. The Head Office is located at 26 Rabe Street, Polokwane.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Secretarial Studies/Office Administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of successful secretarial and general administration experience.
  • Computer experience.
  • Driver’s license.

Key Performance Areas and Main Tasks

  • Keep and co-ordinate meetings and diary of the Executive Manager.
  • Answer telephone, refer calls, and take messages.
  • Perform all filing in accordance with procedures.
  • Prepare and submit travel and subsistence claims.
  • Order refreshments, prepare, and make arrangements regarding venue and catering bookings for lunches.
  • Order and control stationery and equipment.
  • Correspondence: Type letters, write acknowledgment of receipt.
  • Take minutes at meetings.
  • Ensure that employees/officials complete attendance register.
  • Co-ordinate the activities of the Executive Manager with business unit heads, including the co-ordination of inputs for reports.
