Key Responsibilities Pharmacist Vacancy At Healthchem

  • Interpret and execute registered physician’s prescriptions.
  • Act as a medication steward.
  • Supervise pharmacy interns and assistants.
  • Take responsibility for preparation and dispensing of medications.
  • Manage the dispensary alongside other Pharmacists.
  • Handle Schedule 6 substances appropriately.
  • Participate in dispensary stock management and stock take events.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety policies.

Requirements | Competencies | Attributes

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
  • SAPC registration and annual declaration completed.
  • Designated as a “practising pharmacist” with compliance to CPD requirements.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a retail pharmacy.
  • Effective computer literacy (especially UNISOLVE, Xprocure, email).
  • Strong customer relationship management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Results-driven, with integrity and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain attentive under pressure and work as an effective team player.
  • Willingness to learn and proactive approach.
