Central Applications Clearing House (CACH)

The Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) has introduced the Central Application Clearing House System (CACH) to provide further opportunities for late applicants. The CACH system will be open from 8 am on January 26, 2024, until March 31, 2024.

Through CACH, applicants can receive valuable career advice, referrals to other opportunities such as alternative universities, TVET college opportunities, artisan development opportunities, and more. The system is designed to assist individuals who are uncertain about their study preferences or career paths, offering guidance and support for making informed decisions.

Conclusion

The availability of late applications in nine South African universities for 2024, along with the Central Applications Clearing House, provides a crucial second chance for prospective students.
